Snow Day

Dear Parent/Guardian,

As the forecast for the “snow of the decade’ seems on track to hit our area, we
have made a decision to cancel all after school and evening activities and
school tomorrow, Wednesday, February 2
as the unsafe driving conditions has led us to make this decision. We felt it was
important to inform you as early as possible so that you are able to make any
necessary child care arrangements.

district Superintendents are in regular communication and we will make a
decision after determining the impact that this snow storm has on Oak Forest,
Midlothian, and Crestwood. Information regarding school and activity closing is
available on our website at

Information is also posted through local media.
Thank you for your understanding relative to this weather related issue. We will
keep you informed as we make decisions regarding our schools. Please stay safe
(and warm) in the next couple of days.
